Hi I stumbled upon this message, but I may be a solution to restart your mac with the install cd while holding down the "C" (it boot on the cd) and then you do repair permissions (or something like that) you'll see it's much easier than on a PC Losedoze. mac is at least one logic is not Bill (eg to stop your pc "Start" then "STOP" logic )
